Welcome to Our Lady of Miracles

Our Lady of Miracles Catholic School first opened in 1952.  The school was forced to close in 1968, but reopened in 1979 due to the efforts of a dedicated Parish community. Today, Our Lady of Miracles continues to  provide an excellent Catholic education to students in preschool through eighth grade.  The school serves students from the communities of Gustine, Los Banos, and Newman.  The staff, Pastor, and parish community are dedicated to providing a unique and rigorous educational experience in a family atmosphere permeated by the love of Christ.  Thank you for your interest in our school.  We are proud to share who we are!

Announcements

Academic Decathlon News:
We have some wonderful news to share with you. Today, the team from Our Lady of Miracles was one of 16 teams who competed in the Academic Decathlon for the Diocese of Fresno. As the scores were tabulated, they showed that the students and staff don't rely only on miracles, but on hard work and effort. As a result of months of preparation, the team from OLM received the following awards:

• Michelle Silva - 4th place in Social Studies
• Aidan Stanley - 4th place in Math
• Samantha Corgiat - 3rd place in Religion
• Alexandria Lopes - 1st place in Science
• Team OLM - 1st place in the Logic Quiz (1300 points more than the 2nd place team)
• Team OLM placed third in the entire competition, earning more than 800 points above its nearest competitor!

We are very proud of our students and those who worked with them and are celebrating their great use of the talents that God has given them. Go Lancers!
