Sacraments

By preparing for the Sacraments alongside their classmates, students experience significant and powerful spiritual milestones. Parents are included in preparing their children for reception of the Sacraments through parent education meetings.

Students in the second grade prepare for and receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist during the school year.

Practicing Catholic students who have received their First Communion may receive Eucharist during school Masses. Catholics and non-Catholics who are not prepared to receive communion are encouraged to come forward for a blessing.

Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation are offered to students during Advent, during Lent, and at other times scheduled by the teacher and Pastor.
